Biomechanical Engineering Graduate - CLOSED
We currently have a trainee position open for an enthusiastic new team member. As a graduate biomechanical engineer, reporting to the senior engineer and project engineer, you will be trained in multiple areas of work at HIE including:

Accident analysis and investigation

Testing and data analysis
-
Report and procedure writing
-
Research and project engineering
The ideal candidate will have:
Qualifications (essential):
-
Completed (or is completing) a tertiary degree or qualification in a biomedical or medical AND mechanical engineering (or related) discipline
Experience and skills (highly desirable):
-
Experience in report writing, research and literature reviews
-
Experience in handling databases and data analysis
-
Exceptional computing skills
-
Experience working in a mechanical laboratory or workshop with demonstrable knowledge of safe work practices
Personal qualities (essential):
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Excellent time management skills
-
The ability to work within a multidisciplinary team

High attention to detail and a demonstrated desire to produce quality work
